Books For Babies
Inspiring a Love of Reading from Birth!
Every baby deserves a strong start. That’s why Books for Babies provides newborns at Ascension Seton Cedar Park with a new book, a library card invitation, and essential literacy resources—giving parents the tools to nurture a love of reading from day one.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Every story shared with a child is a gift—sparking imagination, strengthening bonds, and laying the foundation for lifelong learning. 1000 Books Before Kindergarten invites families to enjoy the magic of reading together, one book at a time.
Whether your child is three months or three years old, it’s never too early to begin. The goal is simple: read 1,000 books before kindergarten. Every book, every cuddle, every chapter helps build confidence, curiosity, and school readiness.

Summer Adventure and Reading Challenge
Read Books - Track Reading Time - Attend Programs - Win Prizes. The more you read, the more chances to win prizes!
For the second year in a row, the Cedar Park Public Library Foundation partnered with LEEF to provide Free 3-month Library cards for Leander ISD students and their families.
Through this program, 141 families and 232 children were able to take advantage of the Library and its Summer Programs .
Friends of the Library Book Sale
The Friends of the Library offers books, DVDs, and media for sale year-round, and hosts Book Sales in the spring and fall.
Your purchases directly enhance the Cedar Park Public Library's collection and expand art, cultural, and educational programming.
