In a giant step towards strengthening community support for local literacy and learning initiatives, the former Friends of the Cedar Park Public Library and The Cedar Park Public Library Foundation have unified to form a single, combined organization.
Established in September 1980, the Friends of the Cedar Park Public Library has a rich history of promoting the Library within the community and collaborating closely with the Library Director, professional staff, and volunteers to accomplish the Library's objectives.
This merger unites the passion and resources of both groups, enhancing their support for the Library through volunteer efforts and funding, and is poised to continue and broaden this legacy, creating a greater impact in the Cedar Park community.
Dive into a diverse collection of books, DVDs, and more. The Friends of the Library offer these items year-round, with special biannual sales every spring and fall.
Your purchases enhance the Cedar Park Public Library's collection and foster community engagement with literature and media. All proceeds directly support the library’s mission to serve our community.
Stay tuned for the announcement of our next Book Sale as we transition to our new, state-of-the-art facility this fall.
The Friends host two large book sales each year, in the fall and the spring. Gently used books, movies, and music CDs for all ages are available for purchase.
Our library touches the lives of you, your friends, neighbors, and community every day. We’d love you to join our community of library supporters with a gift that puts books and other resources into the hands of people who really need them right now.
Donate your Books to the Friends! The Library accepts one grocery bag or box of current fiction and non-fiction books per person on behalf of the Friends to sell in their Bookstore or Book Sale.
See below for book donation guidelines.
Books must be brought to the Cedar Park Public Library at 425 South Parkwest Drive, Cedar Park, TX 78613.
Donations need to be resalable (very dirty, discolored, mildewed, damaged or detached covers, old text books, old computer books, etc. are not suitable for resale).
Please don’t donate books that you wouldn’t consider buying yourself.
