As part of the Cedar Park Public Library Foundation, the Friends raise vital funds to support programs, technology, and resources that enrich lives across our community. We do this by:
- Hosting semiannual book sales
- Running the Foundation Bookstore in the Library lobby
- Welcoming donations of books and dollars
Together, we keep the Library thriving and ensure access to learning for all.

Volunteer Opportunities:
• Help at the Book Sale – Set up, greet shoppers, and support the community’s favorite book event
• Sort & Box Books – Organize donated items for upcoming sales and bookstore stock
• Transport Books – Move materials between the Library and storage as needed
• Tag & Stock Books – Keep our In-Library Bookstore organized and refreshed with great reads

Book Donation Guidelines
At Friends, we sell donated items to further our mission of supporting the Cedar Park Public Library.
Books must be brought to the Cedar Park Public Library at 425 South Parkwest Drive, Cedar Park, TX 78613.
We Accept
- Fiction and nonfiction books
- Hardback or Paperback
- Children's Books
- DVDs
- Music CDs
We Do Not Accept
- Encyclopedias
- VHS tapes
- Cassette tapes
- Magazines
- Textbooks
Donations need to be resalable (very dirty, discolored, mildewed, damaged or detached covers, old textbooks, old computer books, etc. are not suitable for resale).
Please don’t donate books that you wouldn’t consider buying yourself.
