Fable Fest

Raising over $265,000 in revenue, Fable Fest has been an annual community event since 2009 and brings together thousands of festival-goers to Elizabeth Milburn Park for a day of family fun and entertainment.

Fable Fest includes arts & crafts, costume characters, demonstrations and activities. Typically, we attract around 7,500  community members and raise $10,000-20,000 in net profits to support the many programs and initiatives at the Cedar Park Public Library

Fable Fest 2022 is in the Books!

Food, Fun, & Entertainment for the Entire Family

It had been 3 years since our last Fable Fest event, so we were unsure what to expect.  Thanks to our wonderful Cedar Park community, Fable Fest 2022 had an  estimated 8,000+ attendees and raised over $23,000 for the Cedar Park  Public Library.

Proceeds from the event go to support the many programs at the Cedar Park Public Library, including:

  • Early Literacy Initiatives
  • Summer Reading Programs
  • Advanced Technology Needs

A BIG "THANK YOU" !

Thank you, to all the local businesses, civic organizations, vendors, and volunteers that made this possible!   We could not have accomplished this without your help.

Fable Fest 2023 is Cancelled

After much discussion, the Cedar Park Public Library Foundation Board of Directors decided to cancel Fable Fest 2023. Our current attention is primarily focused on the New Library that is under construction. We are undertaking a Capital Campaign to ensure that our new Library will have the resources necessary to make it as wonderful an asset to serve our community as is possible.

To accomplish this, our Board members need to be able to devote the time and effort necessary to ensure the success of the Capital Campaign. We hope to enter the public phase of the Campaign late in 2023.

We are at once sad to know that Fable Fest will not happen this year, and also excited at the prospect of a more successful Capital Campaign as a result of our ability to bring our undivided focus to bear on this effort.
