Summer Adventure is officially underway — and this season is shaping up to be one of our biggest yet.
Theater performances, foam parties, magic shows, reading challenges, and hands-on experiences designed for every age. Most events are free and open to everyone — no library card needed.

🌹 Run for the Roses

Our inaugural Run for the Roses exceeded every expectation — bringing Cedar Park together for an afternoon of Southern hospitality, friendly competition, and community pride.
Over $22,000 was raised to support Library programs, events, and community experiences through our organization.

📚 Spring Book Sale
April 17–19, 2026 | Cedar Park Public Library
Thanks to 29 dedicated volunteers, the Spring 2026 Book Sale set a new Foundation record.
$8,300 raised — supporting literacy programs, expanded collections, and community initiatives at the Library.

From music and art to animals, gardening, and hands-on learning, Summer Adventure brought families together through a wide range of free programs designed to spark curiosity and connection.

🆕 3,457 new library cards issued (+196%)
Summer Adventure continues to expand in attendance and regional reach each year — making it one of the most impactful community programs in Cedar Park.
📖 2025 Summer Reading Challenge
Record-Breaking Growth & Regional Reach
The 2025 Summer Reading Challenge engaged 5,080 readers of all ages — supported by generous sponsorship from Atmos Energy.
Together, participants logged 9,884,879 minutes read, a 66% increase over the previous year.
Additional Impact:
📚 131,891 items checked out (+86%)
🆕 More than half of new participants were out-of-district members

Decades Concert Series

Four themed concerts. Strong attendance. Proven results.
The Decades Concert Series brought the community together across four high-energy fundraising events — generating $30,721 to support literacy, programming, and expanded access at the Cedar Park Public Library.
The series coincided with the opening of the new Library, which in its first year has already welcomed:
📖 650,000 visitors — gathering, learning, and discovering
📚 502,776 items checked out — fueling knowledge and imagination
💳 18,945 new library cards issued — welcoming new learners daily
🎉 41,377 program attendees — bringing the community together
📝 9,858 study room reservations — supporting focused learning
💰 $500,000 raised — investing in the Library’s future
